✷Sutiphong Sudsang✷
Sutiphong Sudsang (1999) is a Thai artist born in Sisaket Province,
near the Thai–Cambodian border. Growing up in a culturally diverse
rural environment shaped his interest in issues related to everyday
life, labor, migration, and the cross-cultural movement of people in
the region.
His artistic practice often begins with questioning these social issues,
initially using photography as a form of small archival research before
expanding into mixed-media and new-media approaches. His works
frequently address themes of society, politics, labor, and lived
experience.
Beyond his visual art practice, Sutiphong is also deeply engaged in music and sound art. He co-founded the experimental project: Plern Vern Project, which blends Isan (Northeastern Thai) music with electronic music technology, creating a unique fusion of tradition and innovation.
